How to get to Ty Haf
TY HAF, BEACH ROAD, RHOSCOLYN, ANGLESEY LL65 2NJ
These directions start on the A55 just before the crossing onto Anglesey. If you need directions from further away please let us know. If using SatNav the Post Code is above but you will still need the directions as you near the house as the Post Code covers quite a large area
If you get lost please ring 0151 625 4668 or 07557 673 660 (Reasonable times only please!) or 01407 861 096 (Ty Haf)
Please note the Police are active across the island
Access Anglesey via the A55 and cross onto the island by the Britannia Bridge and follow signs for Holyhead/Caergybi A55. (It is also possible to cross over the picturesque Menai suspension bridge (by Thomas Telford) near Bangor; in that case follow signs for A5 Holyhead then rejoin the A55 near LlanfairPG.)
Follow A55 almost all the way across the island until you reach Junc 3, signposted Valley/Y Fali – do not turn off at Junc 4 for RAF Valley – J.3 is an odd junction with a double roundabout carrying you back over the A55, follow this to the traffic lights in Valley. From here on the speed limit is 30 mph until past and out of Four Mile Bridge.
At the traffic lights (about 10 minutes from the cottage) turn left onto B4545 signed to Treaddur Bay, through a small shopping area, the Spar on your left is open 24/7. Over a railway crossing, fork right and follow the road back over the A55, mini roundabout, beware Police mobile radar traps, half a mile into Four Mile Bridge, across the narrow bridge onto Holy Island then in 150 yards turn left, signed to Rhoscolyn, just before the small café & hairdressers.
It is about 2 miles to Rhoscolyn and the road becomes narrower; after 1.5 miles go past the sign for Silver Bay until you come to a junction, turn left here, signposted Beach & White Eagle pub (with the church up on your right), down a very narrow road past the pub, 3 more sharp bends, the last with a white house directly in front of you.
Ty Haf (white painted, lowish bungalow with natural stone walled garden) is 40 yards round the corner, the drive drops away to your left, there is room to park the car while opening the gate.
We suggest you unload down at the bottom of the drive then put the car back up on the hardstanding near the gate (on the left looking up to the road). Please do not drive on the grass lower down or on the right as you will get stuck and churn up the lawn.
